Cancellations & Refunds:
Deposits are fully refundable if you cancel your reservation with 48 hours notice. Cancellations due to unfavorable weather are always fully refundable.
Transportation:
Unfortunately we cannot provide guest pick-ups at their hotel. We are a small company and just do not have the resources. We are happy to arrange a taxi pick up and drop off for you daily at reasonable rates. If you plan on diving a number of days, a rental car is often cheaper than taxi fare.
Snorkeling & Diving combination:
I am sorry, but we do not provide snorkeling and diving on the same tour. The ocean currents at the surface can be stronger than the currents at depth. A diver can use the corals of the dive site to hide from the current, where as a snorkeler on the surface is at the mercy of the current. The safety of our clients is our primary concern and the boat must stay with the divers. In addition we use different sites for snorkeling verses diving. The snorkel sites are very shallow and are not suitable for diving. Having said all of that, we do allow people to ride along in the boat, provide there is space. They can jump in the water with snorkel gear and play around. The captain will let them know when it is time to get back in the boat.
Dive Sites:
We have over 25 different dive sites from easy, shallow reef dives that are full of sea life to challenging wall dives that start at 135 feet. We do our deeper, more advanced dives (2 tanks) in the morning at 8 am and our shallower, more relaxing dives (2 tanks) in the afternoon at 12 pm. In addition, we offer dive tours to the spectacular underwater caves (Cenotes) of the Yucatan Peninsula.
Snorkeling:
Our snorkel tour takes you out to the coral reef by boat to two different snorkel sites. The depth of the water is shallow, about 10-20 feet, so you are very close to the life. Life vests are mandatory as the reef is part of our National Park. We ask that you please use only biodegradable/reef safe sunscreen while out at the reef. This can be purchased at the little supermarket at the Puerto Morelos town square. Full equipment rental, National Park entrance bracelet and drinking water are included. The tour lasts about two hours and costs $25 per person. Our normal snorkel times are 8 am, 10 am, 12 pm and 2 pm. Just let us know the date and time that you would like to go.
Equipment Rental:
All of our diving services include full equipment rental with your choice of short or long wet suit. You will find that our equipment is new and well maintained. You are welcome to bring some or all of your own gear. We will happily rinse, dry, store and assemble it for you each day. With the current airline weight restrictions and charges for overweight bags, many of our guests are choosing to leave their equipment at home. If you have a favorite mask or wet suit it can be nice to have those with you but you really don't need to bring anything. We do not offer a discount for bringing your own equipment.
